Shocking, explosive growth of Maghreb blogs!
Oh hello pretty, I mumbled, feeling much like Adam when he first laid eyes on Eve — I just found a new blog in English that, just like Maghreb Policy Review, focuses on the Maghreb countries.
Appropriately, therefore, it is called the Maghreb Blog, and looks well worth following. It was started in March this year, two months after we kicked off here at MPR, meaning that the number of Maghreb region blogs in English is now a solid two.
Frankly, that’s a little low still for an area that covers 50% of the Arab world, but doubling our numbers in two months is encouraging. Just a few more decades of that, and the Palestine and Beirut blogospheres will have to watch their backs, I tell you.
