Morocco’s banned poll
August 5, 2009
You’ve surely heard about the poll that led Moroccan authorities to seize two newspapers. This despite the fact that the poll showed that 91% of Moroccans are happy with Mohamed VI — since, as gov. spokesman Khaled Naciri put it, his position “cannot be the subject of discussion”. I don’t know, maybe they should have a poll on that too.
Anyway, an alert reader pointed out to me that Larbi has posted an AFP dispatch that includes the results of the poll, for those who want to see the full numbers. Interesting stuff.
